East Chester Elementary recently recognized two children that earned the achievement of reading one million words. Jed Deweese, son of Joe and Liz Deweese, is a second grader in Mrs. Becky Welch’s classroom. The other student, also in Welch’s classroom, is second grader Emma Brown who is the daughter of Duncan and Teresa Brown.
