Emily Johnson named president of Henderson Community Bank

Community Bank is proud to announce Emily Johnson as City President, Henderson | Chester County. Johnson recently served as Vice-President, Talent Development at the Jackson Chamber. Prior to her time in Jackson, Johnson served as Executive Director of the Henderson | Chester County Chamber of Commerce for thirteen years. Community Bank announced on August 2, 2021, that it entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the Henderson branch office of West Tennessee Bank, a Division of Decatur Bank. The transition is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2021.
Johnson is a Tennessee Certified Economic Developer, a Tennessee Chamber of Commerce Executives Institute graduate, and a graduate of Tennessee Valley Authority Rural Leadership and Workforce Institute. She serves as a board member for Southwest Members Care, is a WestStar Class of 2011 member, and in 2018, she received a Jackson Area Business and Professional Women Sterling Award. Emily is a Leadership Chester County Class of 2009 member and has served two terms on the Chester County Carl Perkins Advisory Council. “I am excited to join Community Bank and I am so happy to be able to work in the community I love and call home.
