Hello from Enville! I hope everyone is having a great week!
Thanksgiving 2023 has come and gone; we had great meals at April, Kelley and Reece’s home, at Sanford Hill Baptist Church on Sunday before Thanksgiving and at our house on Thanksgiving. We had great food and fellowship at all places. We always enjoy our families and our church family on this special holiday. I truly hope you all spent time with your family. Now, we can move on to Christmas, which will be here before we know it. Thanks to Blake and Brayden for getting our tree out of my building and bringing it in and to Reece and April for decorating it while I decorated the house. It is so nice to have some good help. We appreciate all y’all do for us!
The Attack on Pearl Harbor in Honolulu, Hawaii, took place on Dec. 7, 1941. The next day, the United States would formally enter World War II on the side of the Allies (Wikipedia). The attack killed 2,403 U.S. personnel and wounded 1,178 people (https://www.history.com). This war was devastation for many families, here at home and abroad, who had family soldiers over there. By the grace of God, Danny’s dad and many more came home safely.
Enville sends out Happy Birthday wishes to Rick Ooley on Dec. 1, Linda Wade on Dec. 2, and Priscilla Gilbert on Dec. 6. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
