Former Chester County Commissioner Jimmy Lee Wamble dies

Jimmy Lee Wamble, 64, of Finger passed away Feb. 19, 2021 at his home. Funeral services were Tuesday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Bro. Glenn Harris and Ronald Naylor officiating. Burial followed in Old Friendship Cemetery.
He was born March 31, 1956 in the Old Friendship Community of Chester County, the son of the late Raymon and Edith Lorene Davidson Wamble. He attended Chester County Schools with the class of 1974. He farmed as a young man and worked for TJ&L Construction and for Barclay Trucking carrying the U.S. Mail. He served as Chester County Commissioner on the County Court.
