Freed-Hardeman Lady Lions cap off four-game sweep over Bethel

The No. 22 Lady Lions (24-6, 14-4 MSC) continued its tear through the Mid-South Conference, completing the four-game sweep over Bethel (18-10, 12-10 MSC) with 7-3 and 3-0 wins on Saturday afternoon.
Brittany Adair continued her dominance, throwing seven scoreless innings – only giving up one hit in the seventh inning – with 12 strikeouts, totaling 28 in her two starts over the Wildcats, in game four of the series.
Sophie Dunavant concluded a stellar series, going a combined 3-for-4 while scoring three runs and bringing in two on Saturday.
Annalise Jarnagin went 2-for-3 in the first game of the afternoon with two doubles, bringing in two runs and scoring two, and Chloe Winters earned the win after throwing six innings while only surrendering one run.
