The Freed-Hardeman University baseball team will be hosting its Friends and Family Day on Saturday, October 30.
“This year’s Friends and Family Day has been much anticipated because, for many, it will be the first look at the artificial turf transformation that occurred this summer,” coach Jonathan Estes said.
The festivities for the day include an Alumni Home Run Derby at 2 p.m. followed by the Alumni Game at 3 p.m. The current version of the FHU Lions baseball team will play their Halloween game scrimmage at 5:30 p.m., where the players dress up in their Halloween costumes. Activities for the kids will be available as well. The day will also feature a BBQ plate dinner with all proceeds going back to the baseball program.
Any alumni interested in playing should contact head coach Jonathan Estes at jestes@fhu.edu.
