Dr. Brandon Lanciloti, assistant professor of accounting at Freed-Hardeman University, has been named 2019-2020 director and program chair of the Tennessee Society of Accounting Educators (TSAE).
His responsibilities include creating the program and selecting speakers for the 2020 conference.
TSAE aims to assist with the development of higher quality accounting programs in Tennessee by promoting excellence in the classroom.
It promotes the development of accounting as both a theoretical and applied discipline, provides for the professional interests of its members, and offers a forum for interaction between accounting educators from Tennessee’s four-year universities, two-year colleges, state technical institutes, and private colleges and universities.
“I have always enjoyed attending these conferences and am looking forward to shaping the agenda for next year’s conference,” Lanciloti said.  “We typically have nationally-recognized or award-winning accounting educators as keynote speakers and the conference always yields information that I can use to improve my teaching.”
FHU offers a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting.  Information about all programs offered by the FHU College of Business is available at fhu.edu/academics/colleges/business.
