Freed-Hardeman University Lion rackets pick up league win

The Lions of Freed-Hardeman University continued their strong road trip by defeating the Shawnee State (Ohio) University Bears 6-1.
The Lions (5-8, 2-7 MSC) took victory in two of the three doubles matches after Theo Devals and Aleksa Pesic lost 6-3, followed by wins from Merlin Bolema and Maxime Guyon 6-2 and Nolan Laduree and Braden Young 6-0.
The lone SSU (1-7, 0-5 MSC) point came with Bolema exiting before finishing the first set and officially falling 4-0. Pesic picked up the singles with 6-2, 6-1, while Guyon took the win on the No. 3 court 6-2, 6-2. Laduree clinched the dual victory by topping his opponent 6-0, 6-1, while Devals won 7-6, 6-1. Caden Arnold finished the day for the men in maroon with a 6-1, 6-2 win.
