After a loss yesterday, the Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lions bounced back with a 14-0 victory over Oakwood (Ala.) University. Addison Greene and Bailey Morris recorded hat tricks while three other Lady Lions recorded goals.
The Lady Lions (2-7-0, 0-1-0 MSC) were off and running when Addison Greene tallied her first goal at 6:12 before following with an second unassisted goal moments later at 6:39. Bailey Morris would score her first goal of the day after teaming up with Sophia Haddad de Lima at 10:56. Haddad de Lima would put the ball in the net by herself at 15:45.
FHU would add one more goal before the break when Catherine Harris recorded an unassisted goal at 37:58 to give the Lady Lions a 5-0 lead over the Ambassador (0-2-0, 0-1-0 SSAC).
After the break, the Lady Lions exploded with a nine-goal second half to cruise to a 14-0 win. Brooke Latham pick up the win, playing in the first half without facing a shot. Caraline Riddle took over in the second half and saw three off-target shots.
