Activities for October 31, 2020

Local kids of all ages will hit the streets and communities Saturday night in search of Halloween festivities. Trick-or-treating and Trick-or-trunking was an uncertain possibility for a time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, as numbers decrease and imagination increases, candy and costumes have been purchased and decoration/delivery modes have been planned.
According to Henderson City Mayor Bobby King, parents will have the last say when determining which events their children attend. They are of course encouraged to stay safe and have fun.
The following events are just a few which will take place Saturday, Oct. 31. For additional information on these and more, go to chestercountyindependent.com or check our FaceBook page.
Enville Community Center will host Trick or Trunk. Begins at 5:40 p.m.
Middlefork Road Baptist Church will have free food, fun, hayride, jumping and games from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Everyone is welcome. 3955 Middlefork Road.
Mitchell’s Chapel Baptist Church will be hosting festivities starting at 5:30 p.m. Everyone is invited. State Hwy 225, Masseyville.
