Henderson aldermen to meet Thursday, November 18

The Henderson Mayor and Board of Aldermen will meet at 7 p.m. this evening, Thursday, Nov. 18 for their monthly meeting.
They are scheduled to review and consider action on bids for the demolition and removal of three structures: 419 Harmon Street, 423 Harmon Street and 126 Whitley Avenue.
Another item on the agenda is to consider approving the replacement of two natural gas valves at an approximate cost of $7,000.
The aldermen will also consider approval for the Fire Department to apply for and agree to fund the local match on two AFG Grant Applications if the city is awarded the grant(s).
During other business, the board plans to discuss the employee Christmas lunch and the relocation of electric lines on the TIFF Hotel site.
