Henderson Community celebrates Veteran’s Day

The City of Henderson, along with the county celebrated a Veteran’s Day program Wednesday, hosted by the Chester County American Legion Post 157. Henderson Mayor Bobby King and Chester County Mayor Barry Hutcherson spoke along with the guest speaker veteran Sparky Fields. Currently, Fields is Comptroller for the Navy Recruiting Command where he manages the Navy Recruiting Command annual budget of over $700 million, and leads a group of professional financial analysts and other vital employees in the NRC N8 Department. He is also the current President of Combat for Compassion, Anti-suicide Veteran organization based in Lexington.
