Henderson honors Hometown Heroes

The week of the annual Chester County BBQ Festival kicked off with the Henderson Hometown Heroes Parade which was sponsored by Freed-Hardeman University.
The parade had military, law enforcement, first responders and others participate to honor Henderson/ Chester County heroes that have served their communities whether it be near or far.
Following the parade, emergency vehicles set up for a “Touch-a-Truck” event at Henderson Church of Christ.

Children joined Smokey the Bear for a picture. Children in the photo are: Brynli Young, Chase Bridges, Kenzi Wilbanks, Karli Wilbanks and Keeli Wilbanks.
