If you act as good as you look, you will be just fine

Sonia Labovitz shared her grandmother’s words of wisdom with readers of the Chester County Independent in anticipation of Mother’s Day.
Labovitz said when her feelings were hurt, her grandmother, Wilma Sue Connor would tell her, “If they can live with it, you can live without it.” Though Connor passed away in January of 1998, her words still live on, as Labovitz repeats them often to her friends and family. Her grandmother’s gentle reminder that the inside is just as important as the outside thrives in her heart and mind.
When asked how she looked before going out, her grandmother replied, “If you act as good as you look, you will be just fine.”
