Rev. Marles Flowers of the Henderson/ Chester County community was diagnosed with Covid-19 on July 11 and faced hard times in which doctors did not think he was going to make it. Before diagnosed, his temperature was 105 and his wife Sylvia Flowers found him to be unresponsive. He spent 28 days on the ventilator and another 32 days at the rehabilitation center. On September 16, he was able to go home and be with family and friends. Flowers thanked God and the hospital workers for taking care of him and helping him recover. “I truly thank God for the healthcare workers for their attentiveness to my case. There have been lives lost here in Chester County, but I’m a survivor,” he said. “I’m grateful for God’s ability to heal.”
