On Monday Feb. 24, Jacks Creek Elementary received a $25,000 technology grant from the United States Department of Agriculture. The funds will be used to enhance the learning experience within classrooms within the school.
An example of technology that was purchased are smartboard panels which will allow the students to interact more during class and make it possible for teachers to better assess the students’ knowledge.
Chester County Director of Schools, Troy Kilzer II was able to see these smartboard panels in use.
“The kids really enjoy it,” he said.
He believes the technology will make a great impact on the kids.
“This technology will have significant learning benefits for students for many years.”
