Kids in the Kitchen: Baking Edition, hosted by Chester County UT Extension Center, will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 20-21. It will take place at 445 Baker Road Henderson (Home of Amanda Beaird, 4-H Program Assistant).
This class is open to students in fourth and fifth grade. Students are required to attend both sessions.
Students will learn skills in:
Kitchen safety
Reading recipes
Measuring ingredients
The Baking Process
Cake/Cookie Decorating
Each session will include:
Hands-on learning
Lunch and snacks
Games and activities
The registration fee of $30 covers all meals, supplies and kitchen tools for students to take home.
