The Lady Lions competed in the FHU spring invitational hosted at Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club. The team shot an opening round 351, putting them in a solo 4th place. First up for the lions was sophomore Reagan Malone, shooting 80. This +8 finish puts her in a solo 5th place. Following Malone was junior Bailey Gilbert with an 87 (+15). Junior Sara Browning and freshman Makenzie Wilson were next on the team shooting 91 (+19) and 93 (+21) respectively. Rounding out the team’s score was senior Camille Blaylock, shooting 94 (+22). Competing Individually was sophomore Riya Key, shooting 91 (+19) The Lady Lions are in a solo 4th place two strokes behind Bethel University (Tenn.) and one stroke ahead of Mississippi University for Women (Miss). The final round starts at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow.
