Library Board meets today

The Chester County Library Board is scheduled to meet at 5 p.m. today, Thursday, September 15, in the Chester County Library conference room at 1012 East Main St., Henderson. All members of the public are welcome to attend.
Old business to be addressed includes discussion of the expansion, water fountain/bottle filling station and new DVD shelving/shelving unit between Tennessee room and conference room.
Items of new business on the agenda include staffing at the library, approval of social media policy, request for reinstatement to probationary status and request to close for regional staff training on Dec. 8, 2022.
Reports scheduled to be presented include the Directors Report, Treasurer’s Report and Regional Library Report.
