On Thursday, May 20, a one-vehicle wreck occurred on Highway 200 just past the shooting range.
Carl E. Carlson Jr., 40 years old, was traveling north on Highway 200 in his Ford F-150 when the wreck occurred.
According to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, while making the left curve, Carlson exited the right side of the roadway. The truck then traveled approximately 100 yards along the ditch before reentering the roadway. Next, it overcorrected to the left and entered a yaw. The truck exited the left side of the roadway where it overcorrected to the right and reentered the roadway. His F-150 crossed both lanes a third time, then exited the right side of the roadway and stuck the ditch with its right rear tire. The vehicle then overturned and came to final rest on its top in the roadway facing west.
Carlson was airlifted for his injuries. His condition is unknown.
