Local students named to dean’s, president’s lists

Freed-Hardeman University

Freed-Hardeman University has released the names of students who made the President’s and Dean’s Lists for the Spring 2024 semester. To be on the President’s List, a student must be full-time and have a 4.0 grade point average. Students on the Dean’s List have earned a minimum 3.4 grade point average for the semester.
The following students, all of Henderson, were named to the President’s List:
Haley Bennett is earning a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with Concentration in Middle School.
Allie Bobo is earning a Bachelor of Science in Family Sciences.
Julie Charles is earning a Bachelor of Social Work.
Ava Cox is earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology Professional.
Xavier Falkenheim is earning a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry.
Caroline Hamilton is earning a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with Concentration in Middle School.
Ella Hardin is earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Information Systems.
Jacelyn Haskins is earning a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Politics.

Austin Peay

Austin Peay State University is proud to recognize students on the Dean’s List for academic achievement during spring 2024. Among those appearing were local students Raamiah Pattenaude and Aaliyah Terry, both of Henderson.
To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or greater

Harding University

The following students are among more than 1,300 Harding University students recognized for their academic excellence from grades achieved during the Spring 2024 semester.
Tucker Allen of Henderson is a Junior studying public relations. Allen has been named to the dean’s list.
Eryn Hardin of Henderson is a Junior studying theatre design/production. Hardin has been named to the dean’s list.
Caraline Rogers of Henderson is a Senior studying accounting and information systems. Rogers has been named to the dean’s list.
Josie Smith of Henderson is a Sophomore studying history. Smith has been named to the dean’s list.
The dean’s list is published each semester by Dr. Marty Spears, University provost, honoring those who have achieved high scholarship. To be eligible, a student must be carrying 12 or more hours with a 3.65 or higher grade-point average and no incompletes.

MTSU

Middle Tennessee State University is congratulating 5,475 students who appear on the dean’s list for the spring 2024 semester.
To qualify for this distinction, an undergraduate student must maintain a current semester grade-point average of 3.5 or above and earn at least 12 semester hours.
Local students who made the list include Hannah Crumley, Kennedy Holman and Spencer Lofton, all of Henderson; Carley Hopper of Jacks Creek; and Ethan Termuhlen of Luray.

Tennessee Tech

Tennessee Tech University is proud to announce that nearly 4,100 students have been named to the Spring 2024 Dean’s List.
To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must attend the university full-time and achieve a grade-point average of at least 3.1 on a 4.0 scale.
The following local students earned this prestigious honor: Madison Granger and Zakary Henson, both of Henderson

UT Martin

Several Chester County residents were among students who received degrees from the University of Tennessee at Martin during spring commencement ceremonies held May 4, 2024, with some 600 students participating.
The students receiving undergraduate degrees were Steven Kyle Hopper and Caden S. Hueter, both of Henderson.
The student receiving a graduate degree was Ethan Wilson Nails, of Henderson.
UT Martin is a comprehensive regional institution in the University of Tennessee System offering 18 bachelor’s degree programs and nine master’s degree programs.
