Local students recognized at UT Martin Honors Day

Two Chester County students received awards at the University of Tennessee at Martin’s annual Honors Day Ceremony on May 1.
Madelyn Collins, of Henderson, received the Outstanding Level III Nursing Student at Martin Award. The award is given by the College of Education, Health, and Behavioral Sciences and recognizes a senior-level nursing student who attends the Martin campus.
Ben Arnold, of Henderson, received the William H. Baker Scholarship Award. The award is given to one or more full-time students in the College of Business and Global Affairs who have completed 60 hours of college credit, demonstrated scholarship and leadership ability, participated in extracurricular activities and shown promise of professional achievement.
UT Martin’s Honors Day Ceremony recognizes outstanding graduate and undergraduate students from each of UT Martin’s five colleges as well as recipients of many departmental and university-wide scholarships.
