Loving Paws Rescue searches for local stray

Loving Paws Rescue is looking for any information on the location of a local stray known as “Jackie.” Jackie is a blue heeler dog who had been regularly seen in the Shackelford/Johnson Chapel area on East Main St. in Henderson, until approximately three weeks ago. It is suspected that she has hidden to have puppies, but she may not have been able to receive basic nourishment for herself during this time. Given the time frame, it is possible the puppies are around two to three weeks old and will begin to venture out from their den soon.
Loving Paws is looking for the community’s help to locate and secure Jackie and her puppies before the holidays. Once secured, they will be vetted and put up for adoption to new loving homes.
