Chester County Lions Club met on Monday, Dec. 5, 2022 for a holiday meal with spouses and guests. The Chamber Singers from FHU delighted with holiday songs. Lion David Jackson prepared a delicious pasta bar.
The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the esteemed awards. Lion Marc Joblin was the recipient of not only the club’s Lion of the Year, but he was also recognized as an international Melvin Jones Fellow. Lion Marc owns his own landscaping business, Petal Pushers, and is father of Derek and Molly. He always finds time to serve others. His kindness is recognized at every Lions Club event and meeting. When asked why he is quick to help others, Marc said that, “We all have busy lives, but we all need help with different things from time to time. It comes down to seeing what needs to be done and doing it because it’s the right thing to do.” This attitude embodies the Lions Club motto: “We Serve.”
