Cold weather and a rainy sky cut the Freed-Hardeman Univesity Lions’ day on the links short, with only one of the two planned rounds being able to be played at the Mid-South Conference fall preview. The Lions combined for 320 (+32) to find themselves in sixth place of seven teams. EJ Hill had by far the best day for the Lions, sinking a birdie on the par-5 18th hole. By scoring par of 14 of the remaining 17 holes, Hill ended his round with 74 (+2) to tie for fifth place. Ben Sebilian was six strokes behind his teammate, scoring pars on the 12th and 15th holes, both par-4, to settle in a tie for 29th place with an 80 (+8). Tyler Rhodes and Cash Piatt both tallied 83 (+11) to tie for 37th place, with Austin Warren finishing with an 87 (+15) to end the day in 42nd place.
