A bit of cooler weather is being welcomed by most. I am praying our winter is not as harsh as predicted. It is always easier to cool off than to heat up.
With the rise in COVID cases that are being faced, I pray that each of you will do your best to stay safe. We need to remember all the families that are dealing with that fight right now.
All membership dues that were not paid for 2020 and the ones for 2021 are currently due. Dues are $25 per year and can be mailed to Ann Moore at 2715 State Rt. 225, Henderson, TN 38340. We definitely need everyone to be proactive on this matter since it may be a while before we can hold another breakfast event due to the rise in COVID cases once again.
Montezuma sends out happy birthday wishes to Zack Morton on Sept. 9, Dot Smith on Sept. 13 and Toby Connor on Sept. 15.
With so much unrest in our country, I pray that each of you believers will be praying continually for the situation, our government and salvation for the lost. Please pray for Donna Luzier, Liz Cook, Vickie Finley, Steve Morrison, Joyce Beecham, Doug Thomas, Tavish and Lachlan Cox, Ann Morrison, Jessie Pugh, Kristen Daniel, Faye Crouse, Nancy Thomas, Ed and Betty Morris, Charles Gogel, healthcare workers and law enforcement.
We especially want to remember the families of Mark Peter, Roy Dodd, Joan Duvnjak Melton, Jessi Mae Allen, Mike Burkhead, Billie Joe Thomas, Lynn Edwards, families of the Waverly flood victims and other families that have recently lost loved ones.
Please call Betty Cooper at 879-9078 to book the use of the community center.
