Hello to all from this little corner of the world. Sunday was a beautiful, sunny day, and it was 50 degrees at the time of this writing. The sky was a gorgeous blue with grayish-white clouds. The daytime temperatures were supposed to be 48 and 46 Sunday through Tuesday with nighttime temperatures being 20 and 25 degrees respectively. I have read January and February are going to be our cold months.
HO, HO, HO! Can you believe it is almost Christmas? Next Sunday is Christmas Eve. We are tying up loose ends in decorating and other things. We have been hopping to doctor appointments. I am sure there are many others running doing the same thing. Thankfully, we are able to do it. Everything has gone well, and we are very thankful for that.
Our choir at Friendship Baptist church has been practicing for Christmas. We will have a Christmas Cantata at 10:30 a.m. Christmas Eve morning with a small program for the children on Jesus’ birth. All are invited to attend.
Condolences to all who have lost loved ones. Also, prayers go out to all the sick and hurting. There is so much of it; it is almost overwhelming.
