This weekend, Chester County will host the annual Miss Henderson Pageant. Last year, they were not able to have one due to Covid concerns. But this year, they plan on going all in on this event. The pageant will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday, October 22. Karah Shannon, the former winner, will be handing off the crown to the next winner.
In other news, the football team pulled off a win last Friday over Obion County. The final score was 20-13 with impressive efforts and displays by the entire team. We are 3-3 on the season and look to win many more games and make a playoff appearance in the coming months.
On the topic of sports, this week, both girl’s soccer and volleyball are celebrating their seniors on senior night. The volleyball game will be on Tuesday, September 28 where we will be playing Hardin County, while the soccer game will be on Thursday, September 30, where we will be playing Hardin County.
Once again, I want to thank the city of Henderson and Chester County for their continued support of CCHS.
God Bless and Go Eagles!
