With Chester County High school settling into the new year and new semester, there come new opportunities as well. Baseball, softball, track and field, and boy’s soccer have all started practicing and preparing for their respective seasons coming during the spring. In other sports news, the boy’s basketball team dominated in a game against Dyer County last Thursday night. The final score was 87-69. The girl’s team, at first, thought they lost their game against Dyer 64-63. But, after the game tape was reviewed, they found out that they actually won the game 63-61! Their next home games will be February 1, where we will play a district stretch of games, against Lexington. Then they will play at home again against McNairy on February 4. Be sure to come out and support your Eagles!
In school news, the annual Winter Ball will be held this coming Saturday, January 29. This event will be hosted by the senior class with all of their proceeds going towards prom, which will occur later in this school year. Look for more news and information on that later.
I would like to thank the City of Henderson and Chester County for their continued support of CCHS.
God Bless and Go Eagles!
