This past Friday, the Chester County football team earned their first win of the season! The Eagles traveled to Fayette-Ware to play the Wildcats on their home field. The Eagles went down sixpoints midway through the first quarter but quickly responded with their own score going up 7-6 going into the second quarter. Fayette-Ware scored again and converted the two-point conversion to go up 14-7. Not even a minute later, the Eagles tied up the score and eventually took the lead going into halftime with a 21-14 lead over the Wildcats. Midway through the third quarter, Fayette-Ware scored and closed the lead to one point. Soon after the Eagles scored again and pushed their lead out to seven before eventually, the Wildcats brought the lead back down to two to close out the third quarter. With three minutes left in the game, Fayette-Ware jumped out to their first lead since the first half with the score being 34-28. All hope seemed lost and the game seemed finished. But, the Eagles fought back and scored a game-sealing touchdown with less than two minutes to play with the final score being 35-34!
