We are having a wonderful week of learning here at East Chester Elementary School! We all dressed up this week in support of our second and third graders that are taking their TCAP test. Monday we wore red because we are “RED-Y” for the test. Tuesday we showed how bright we are by wearing yellow or orange. Wednesday was Wild Wednesday by wearing animal print or animals on our shirts. Thursday we said, “GO TEAM!” and wore a shirt or jersey to show our favorite team. Friday will end our testing week by showing our Eagle Spirit by wearing our favorite Chester County Eagle shirt.
Kindergarteners are working hard! The students are continuing to work on increasing their reading fluency. In math they are working on subtracting.
First graders are learning and growing! The students are continuing to learn about Tennessee critters and important places on a map. In math the students are learning how to subtract by 10.
Our second and third graders are working hard on their TCAP tests this week! We know that they are going to shine with all that they know!
We will have a school wide CAMP READ-A-Lot on Friday, April 29, to celebrate the end of testing. This is always such a fun day!
As always, it is a great day to be at East Chester Elementary School!
