Merry Christmas everyone! I pray that all who read this have a good Christmas, celebrating the birth of our King who came to earth so long ago to live, die and promise us that if we believe in Him and follow Him we will be saved and will live in heaven with Him. He is preparing a place for us.
John 14:3 – “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be here I am.”
Our devotion: “Be You” – “‘But our bodies have many parts, and God has put each part just where he wants it.’ (NLT) (1 Corinthians 12:18)
“God made you with a specific and totally unique purpose in mind. He also has given you a one-of-a-kind set of gifts and abilities. Envy robs us of the ability to fulfill God’s special call for our lives. Focus on cultivating your gifts, rather than comparing yourself to others. When we stop comparing, God is able to use you in the exact place He has put you!” www.jctrois.com/dailybibledevotion/devotion.html?devo=YLwQrTBCOO
Please remember to pray for my brother Woodie Deming. He is in such bad pain that he can not travel and has been home bound. He needs a specific surgery that he will probably have to travel a long way so he is really worried about that. So please pray he can find one much closer. Remember Ms. Joyce Stewart who is at the nursing home. And do not forget our shut-ins and homeless out in this cold weather. This coming Friday is supposed to be five degrees. Buurrr! Stay warm.
Happy birthday to Travis Roberts on Dec. 23, Buddy Collins on Dec. 25 (you were Brenda’s Christmas present that year!), Tiffany Mays on Dec. 26, and Laura Qualls Andrews on Dec. 27. Have a great birthday.
Love you all. God bless each of you! My number to share your events is 879-9777.
