Greetings from Deanburg! Right off, I want to say I hear these COVID-19 case numbers going up in our county, and it just breaks my heart. I pray for everyone who has had it and the families affected by it. I do not hear names, but God knows who you are. I did hear the Seaton family has had a hard time with Dwain, Jr. still in the hospital. My heart goes out to his family Dwain, Nona and his siblings.
Please pray for our neighbors and friends in our community, our county and country: Kristen Carlton Jones, Tim Landers, Brianna Landers, Gary Hyatt, Jim Ruth, Eloise Murley, Samantha Mosier, Woodie Deming and Barbara Mitchell. Pray for the ones with the virus. We have had quite a few more victims this week. Please play it safe and take all the precautions. They are lifting the mandatory masks in Jackson, but I hope you will still wear yours. I really can not believe they did that with more cases every week.
Our devotion this week: “Intended For Good You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people. (NLT) ( Genesis 50:20). From the beginning God has re-written the stories of people’s lives for His glory. Joseph, who utters the words from Genesis about God’s grace over this life, endured many hardships that began when his brothers sold him into slavery due to jealousy. Rather than letting bitterness steal his future, he relied on God’s comforting strength to help change the narrative of his life. There is no circumstance so grave that God can’t heal and then use it as a blessing to others.”
Happy belated birthdays: Sharon Hopper on Sept. 24, Savannah Rae Julian on Sept. 25, Phoebe Hopper on Sept. 27 and Lois Reddinger, and Shiloh Elijah Long celebrated his third birthday. Hope you all had a great day!
This week we have Hunter Collins on 10/1 and Allyson Enfinger and Eloise Murley on 10/5. Have a great birthday!
Keep our country and our election coming up in November in your prayers. Our country is in peril. We need to pray every day.
God bless each and every one!
