I certainly hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I did not manage to hit the newspaper’s early deadline last week. Cookies for Cancer will have a free homemade cookie/candy hand out at Hays Cash Saver and Henderson Family Pharmacy from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12. Donations can be made at that time to the American Cancer Society. You can place orders for homemade pies, cakes, fudge and other desserts from now until Dec. 23 for Christmas.
