Hello from Enville! Goodbye to November, and hello to December. It is hard to believe that we are in the last month of the year. Where has it gone? I was always told that the older you get, the faster time goes. I believe it now!
Hopefully, everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving with family and friends. I hope the kids and staff are getting back in study mode this week. Now, we are looking forward to Christmas. I am seeing some beautiful Christmas trees and lights already. It looks so festive. I hope you are getting some shopping done, as it will be here before you know it. All I can say is I have gotten started. With all the hustle and bustle, let us not forget the real reason for the season, the birth of Jesus. Many churches will have Christmas programs, songs and dinners. I hope you can be a part of some of them. The Henderson Christmas Parade is Thursday, Dec. 2. Hope you can go out and enjoy it.
Enville sends out Happy Birthday wishes to Priscilla Gilbert on Dec. 6. Happy Anniversary to Shane and Tanya Harwell on Dec. 9. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
Please pray for the Jo Marie Holmes and Cox families, and continue prayers for Agnes Smith, Jerry O’Neal, Harold and Janice Maness, Jack and Tera O’Neal, Lisa Bishop, Rick Ooley, Ann Pugh, Deb Finley, Casey Pratt, Florence Stublaski, Inez Cash, Genny Sue Martin, Jimmy Robertson, Amanda Johnson, Danny and Janice Keen, Linda and Robert Johnson, Mary Lee Guyon, Ashley Pugh, Shirley Hampton, Tim and Tabitha Hampton, Zenda White, Eugene Springer, Tim Harris, Roger and Sue Henson, our firefighters, first responders, law enforcement, healthcare workers, military and schools, those who have lost loved ones and, as always, each other.
To rent the community center, call Pat at 688-5125, or if you have news to share, please call me at 608-3058.
Have a blessed week everyone!
