Hello from Enville! I hope everyone had a great week. February is moving on out; it sure has gone by fast, just a few more days remaining. March is on the horizon, and that brings us closer to Daylight Saving Time and Springtime, two things I am looking forward to!
The Enville Volunteer Fire Department is having a spaghetti supper and cakewalk fundraiser beginning at 5 p.m. on March 5 at the community center. Mark your calendars and come on out to support them. If you need smoke detectors, contact Fire Chief Thomas Gilham at 608–0696 to get on a list.
The Enville Community Club invites all candidates to come speak at our meeting on April 5. There will be a potluck meal beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Enville sends out Happy Birthday wishes to Carolyn Wright on Feb. 25, Annie Massengill on Feb. 27 and Tyler Ooley on Feb. 28. Happy Anniversary to Teddy and Ann Hollin on Feb. 27 and Lynn and Sarah Canaday on March 2. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
There is so much sickness in and around our area. Please be in prayer for Jack and Tera O’Neal, Deb Finley, Casey Pratt, Florence Stublaski, Lisa Bishop, Mary Lee Guyon, Agnes Smith, Linda and Robert Johnson, Ashley Pugh, Ann Pugh, Harold and Janice Maness, Amanda Johnson, Janice and Danny Keen, Genny Sue Martin, Lisa Finley, Kaye Ritter, Jimmy Robertson, Tim Harris, Tim and Tabitha Hampton, Shirley Hampton, Inez Cash, Della Mixon, Glenda Moore, Roger and Sue Henson, those who have lost loved ones, our firefighters, first responders, law enforcement, healthcare workers, military and schools and, as always, each other.
If you want to rent the community center, call Pat at 688-5125, or if you have news to share, call me at 608-3058. Have a blessed week everyone!
