Hello from Enville! I hope everyone had a great week! Happy graduation to all the 2022 Seniors. We hope you all have a bright future ahead of you! The Enville Community Club gives a scholarship each year to a deserving senior from either Chester County or Adamsville. This year’s recipient was Brielle Dennis-Grant from Adamsville High School. She is the daughter of Jamie and Trixie Grant and the granddaughter of John and Anna Dennis, all from Enville. Congratulations, Brielle!
The weather was good for the farmers. They got some spraying and planting done and then the rain came. I hope it was not too hard or too much for their crops. The planting season is in full swing, so please be cautious on the roads, as they have to travel them, too. Getting from field to field with their large equipment can be dangerous if we do not stay aware of what may be just over the hill or around the next curve, so drive with care and keep everyone safe!
The month of May, so far, has been busy for so many folks with cleaning and mowing cemeteries, decorations, homecomings, working in our yards and getting our spring spruce up done. There are many beautiful flowers in yards. I have to admire our cousins’, Annie and Charlie’s, every time we go by. I am running a little behind this year but will catch up soon. I do not know about you all, but our hummingbirds are just not here. We only have three. I sure hope we have some more. I am having to change the water because it is getting old from not being drank.
