Hello from Enville! I hope you all had a great week. The little showers of rain have been nice and welcomed by the farmers. Be careful out in the heat this week. They are forecasting over 100 degrees for a few days; drink plenty of water and take frequent breaks. I hope everyone stays safe!
July is moving on pretty swiftly. There is only one week left. I wish time would slow down a bit. It is going to be Christmas before we know it!
School starts soon, and I am pretty sure some kids are not ready while some probably are. Our grandboys have worked all summer. We are so proud of them for getting up early and not complaining at all. They are always ready to go; they have football practice and are even mowing yards. Our granddaughter has played ball all summer and had batting, junior high game practices, camps and other activities. It is good for kids to be active!
Happy birthday wishes go to David Wade on July 22, Pattie Gilham on July 24, Nicky Gilham on July 25, Brayden Thompson, Blake Thompson and Brooke Hilton on July 27 and Gage Carter Finley on July 28. We hope you all enjoy your special day!

Mark your calendar for Aug. 27. The Enville Community Club and Enville Fire Department will have the Enville Wild Goose Shindig. It will consist of a spaghetti supper, cakewalk, silent auction and a 50/50 drawing. This will begin at 4 p.m. at the Enville Community Center.
