Hello from Enville! Happy New Year to all! I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas, and I hope everyone got everything on their list. We had a blessed Christmas. We were all together, and everyone was well. So many families were sick with flu and pneumonia during the holiday. I am praying they are all better now. I hope everybody had a safe and fun New Year’s Eve with family and friends. We always watch the ball drop in New York at 11 p.m., and we try to stay up until midnight. It gets harder every year. I guess we are getting old! Our family had our traditional black-eyed peas and hog jowl on New Year’s Day. I cook for everyone, and we always enjoy our meal together each year.
