Hello from Enville! I hope everyone is having a great week! I am thankful that the temperatures are improving, but with warmer weather, the rain comes, too. Personally, I am done with the snow. We had a white Christmas, which was pretty, but I would not be sad if we did not get anymore.
I hope everyone had a happy and safe New Year’s celebration and spent it with family and friends. We had a good day with our family. We went to church; then afterwards, we ate our traditional meal of course.
Enville sends out Happy Birthday wishes to Brandon Ooley on Jan. 7, Kay Swafford and Harold Maness on Jan. 8 and Gene Hanna and Tasha Nichols on Jan. 12. Happy Anniversary to Tommy and Linda Wade on Jan. 6 and John and Melissa Harris on Jan. 10.
Please continue to pray for Lisa Bishop, Agnes Smith, Mary Lee Guyon, Janice and Danny Keen, Linda and Robert Johnson, Florence Stublaski, Ashley Pugh, Shirley Hampton, Della Mixon, Rick Ooley, Mike Pugh, Charlie Kent, Nicole Thompson, Amanda Johnson, Emily Freeman, Kathy Emerson, Loretta Plunk, Tera O’Neal, Harold and Janice Maness, Tim Harris, Tim and Tabitha Hampton, Jimmy Robertson, Ann Pugh, those who have lost loved ones, our firefighters, first responders, law enforcement, healthcare workers, military, schools and school board and, as always, each other.
I hope the kiddos have enjoyed their Christmas break, but it is back to school with head in the books, ready to learn and start the last half of their school year!
If you have news, call me at 608-3058, or if you want to rent the community center, call Pat at 688-5125.
Have a blessed week everyone!
