Hello from Enville! I hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed Easter. The weekend weather was beautiful. I saw many family photos, get-togethers and egg hunts. It is always fun when you have little ones hunting Easter eggs, cherish those moments because they grow up so fast.
It was so good to see Brandon Ooley. He was here from North Carolina visiting with his dad Rick Ooley and Julie for a few days. We hope to see you on your next visit!
School is back in session after a long weekend. I do not think there are any more holidays or days off until the last day of school. We are going to soccer games and Dixie Youth baseball and softball practices have begun as well as travel ball.
Do not forget the Enville Baptist Church is back to their normal services. Sunday School is at 9:45 a.m. with worship service at 11 a.m. and Sunday night service at 5:30 p.m. They have Wednesday night service at 6:30 p.m. They invite everyone!
The Enville Volunteer Fire Department is having their barbeque fundraiser on Saturday, May 8, beside the Enville City Hall. They are pre-selling tickets for barbecue ribs. If you want to order, contact any of the firemen.
Enville sends out Happy Birthday wishes to Audrey Trammell on April 10, Lily Hilton and Maxiene Crowell on April 11, William and Johnny on April 13 and Richard Maness on April 15. Happy anniversary to Jim and Amanda Johnson on April 14. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
Please pray for the family of Lisa Peddy and continue prayers for Jean Crowell, Lisa Bishop, Deb Finley, Casey Pratt, Florence Stublaski, Doris Weeks, Linda and Robert Johnson, Agnes Smith, Mary Lee Guyon, Janice and Danny Keen, Tim Hampton, Jack and Tera O’Neal, Harold and Janice Maness, Jimmy Robertson, Genny Sue Martin, Jo Marie Holmes, Carolyn Wright, Tim Harris, Wanda Ellis, our firefighters, first responders, law enforcement and healthcare workers, those battling illnesses, those who have lost loved ones and, as always, each other. If you have someone to add to the prayer list or have news, call me at 688-5129, or if you want to rent the community center, call Pat at 688-5125.
Have a great week everyone!
