Hello from Enville! I hope you all had a wonderful week. I am really enjoying this fall weather and the beautiful changing leaves. It is amazing what God does in every season. The gorgeous sunsets we have been seeing lately have been breathtaking, and there are more to come. I hope everyone is blessed and thankful for each day!
This weekend will be fun for the kiddos, making their rounds to fill up those pumpkins with candy. I hope everyone will be safe and have a flashlight so you can be seen well after dark. There are some safe indoor activities at churches. Sanford Hill Baptist Church will be open for children on Sunday evening, and you may want to go to Gene Record Park on Saturday evening. Whatever you do, I pray for safety and have fun!
The Enville Community Club will have a short veteran program at their Nov. 2 meeting. There will be a potluck meal before the program.
Happy birthday wishes go to Malcolm Weeks and Tom Harwell on Oct. 29, Eddie Walker, Sr. on Oct. 31 and Wayne Pugh on Nove. 2. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
Please pray for the families of Roy Middleton and Jane Holley Thompson. Also, continue prayers for Deb Finley, Casey Pratt, Florence Stublaski, Doris Weeks, Agnes Smith, Mary Lee Guyon, Janice and Danny Keen, Jo Marie Holmes, Jack and Tera O’Neal, Harold and Janice Maness, Gail Durbin, Shirley Hampton, Lisa Bishop, Amanda Johnson, Eugene Springer, Linda and Robert Johnson, Kathy Emerson, Tim and Tabitha Hampton, Tim Harris, Jimmy Robertson, Alice Starnes, Genny Sue Martin, Roger Henson, our firefighters, first responders, law enforcement, healthcare workers, military, schools and school board, those affected by COVID, those who have lost loved ones and, as always, each other.
If you have news to share, call me at 608-3058, or if you want to rent the community center, call Pat at 688-5125. Have a blessed week everyone.
I hope you have something to smile about and be thankful for this week!
