Hello to everyone! Last week was a wonderful week. I hope yours was the same. If not, just pray. For this is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it (Psalm 118:24), even with the coronavirus and everything else.
On Sunday, June 7, there was a service by the city of Henderson on the football field to honor the Floyd family. The program centered on how we should talk, pray and care for all people. The program was phenomenal! Each speaker focused on the love of our Savior Jesus Christ. Words of love and equality for all people were spoken by our city mayor, sheriff, teachers, etc. I hope and pray that it was not just for one night and that everyone who spoke or listened to those words will live by them. To the Bramblett Group and to everyone who helped get the program together, thank you for all of your hard work. Great JOB!
While I was there at the program, I met a wonderful couple by the name of Tim and Wendi West. It was a pleasure to talk with them. Within the conversation, I understood they have a coffee shop that will be opening very soon; BESSO’S is coming back. I am looking forward to it.
There is nothing like a mother’s love for her children. One particular mother is very happy for her daughter and her son-in-law. As of June 10, they have been married for one year. The first year of marriage is often considered the year of adjustment. On the first year celebration, you may eat the top layer of your wedding cake. Ms. Laura Poe would like to say, “Happy First Anniversary,” to her daughter Amay and to her son-in-law Michael Withspoon. May your relationship stay strong and true. The City of Henderson also wants to wish Amay and Michael Withspoon a happy anniversary. Always remember to keep “the honey in the moon.”

Remember to patronize with our local businesses here in town; let us try to support our own as much as we can.
