Prayers requested for Doris Sells (hospital) and continued prayers for sweet Jesse Hudson and Sue S. Wright. Sue’s living an improved life surrounded by a seemingly Wright reunion. Glen and Linda Ruth Swafford carried “vittles” and cooked a HUGE breakfast. Seems like everyone smelled food cooking and showed up to “visit” Sue, but they left with full tummies! Ha
Spring begins on March 19 – everything is in God’s hands, so keep in prayer and have the faith. Spring is God’s sign that life becomes unearthed – flowers, trees, buds, grass, wildlife, birds and humans come to life. Take time to smell the roses, express love to family, friends and neighbors and do safely every act of kindness that is put on your heart.
Using “good ole horse sense” will guide you. Be a role model for others to see and follow. Who wants or needs to be around negative or panic type people? If we are responsible, then we are leaders, followed and respected. Remember – “Good, better and best. Never let it rest until your good is better and your better is best.”
Be kind to animals; they are loyal. God created ALL life. Keep pets very clean, well fed (they like meat, too) and safe. Use good common sense. Do not let them lick your face. Remember where that tongue has been! Be responsible and spay and neuter – less than $100.
Thank God for our dear USA. It is the best country in the world to live in for sure. Pray for our President, leaders, businesses, financial system, military, law enforcement and devoted healthcare members. Pass kindness forward by being kind to elderly and sick whom may need you. God bless the United States of America. Stay calm, use good judgement and time will heal.
Act of kindness done for me. Leaving Arrington Funeral home to help Jennifer with her dear beloved mother’s funeral planning, I shopped at Sam’s with a list for friends and myself. I was so emotionally exhausted, physically hurting and so plain tired that I did not know how I would unload the cart into an already crowded vehicle. A lady was beside me in a wheelchair. Her basket was full, and she had panic in her eyes. She did not know what she was going to do. Of course I would have offered, but out of the dark shadows, two “angles” appeared and took all her groceries out of the basket, assisted her into her car, and returned the cart to the store. Before I knew it, the “female angel” asked where I wanted my groceries. I opened the trunk and showed designated locations for cold items, others groceries and then mine in the front. Within a very short time, my cart was returned to the store. She returned to offer assistance in getting me into my vehicle. I asked for a name. How do I recognize this “angel” from Florida? BRANDY said “Pass it forward” – then she was gone. There are more good people in this world than bad. GOD will always be victorious over Satan and his one-third of the flock. Elderly, sick or those who can not drive – call Pat at 989-7485. I care and will use common sense to help you. No hugging, warm handshakes or kisses until later, but a bright smile sure helps.
