Spring is in the AIR! Go outside and see the beauty that God has provided as it emerges into these new seasons.
The Republican Primary Election will be held in May, and I strongly encourage those that want to talk to some of the upcoming candidates before the election to come out to the Montezuma Community Center from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, to the Meet the Candidates event. Ms. Kathy will be speaking around 1 p.m., and many of the candidates plan to attend. This event is sponsored by Cookies for Cancer with a Fish Fry for those with an appetite. Contact Beth Everett for more information or see pricing in the What’s Happening section. Please call Betty Cooper at 879-9078 to book the use of the community center.
Montezuma sends out happy birthday wishes to Rhonda Tidwell on March 17, Bethany and Zachery Davidson, Hannah Hunt on March 19, Janice Schultz and Mary H. Beshires on March 21 and Linda Skinner on March 24.
Montezuma sends out happy anniversary wishes to Todd and Emily Brown on March 18.
With so much unrest in our country, I pray that each of you believers will be praying continually for our government and salvation for the lost. Please pray for the people dealing with COVID, Nancy Crouse, Kolby Cunningham, Frank and Imogene Naylor, Martha Cooper, Jake Richardson, Ashley Pugh, Faye Morrison, Joyce Beecham, Doug Thomas, Ann Morrison, Jessie Pugh, Faye Crouse, Ed Morris, healthcare workers and law enforcement. We especially want to remember the families of Jerry Taylor, Adam Randall Wilson, Lavern Bailey, Jan Melton, Wayne Grow and other families that have recently lost loved ones. Many from our community are being called to their final resting place, and I pray that is Heaven. There are many signs that we are nearing the end of time and the return of our Lord and Savior, and people need to get prepared for the worst is yet to come. Reach out to a local church if you have questions regarding what it takes to know you will get to Heaven.
Wishing a very blessed week to all you readers!
