Sunday was a great day to spend with family to celebrate Father’s Day.
This past weekend started district tournaments for some Chester County Dixie Youth teams. My family was at the ballpark two nights in a row with losses for the seven-eight year old B Team boys, which we regret to see, and one win, one loss for the seven-eight year old A Team boys. There was a big crowd there to support the teams, and it shows that Chester County loves their kids. Love to watch our grandson play. Best of luck to the nine-10 year old boys as they will start their district play on Saturday, June 25, in Ramer.
Our center is in need of several upgrades, and if anyone within the community would like to get involved, help with some repair work or just make some larger monetary donations or specific item donations for those purposes, it would all be much appreciated. With so much unrest in our country, I pray that each of you believers will be praying continually for our government and salvation for the lost. Please pray for Lisa Bishop, Kolby Cunningham, Nancy Thomas, Jennifer Paton, Imogene Naylor, Dwight Rhodes, Lill Emerson, Karon Connor Reinmann, Larry Lambert, Samantha Stark, Nancy Crouse, Martha Cooper, Jake Richardson, Ashley Pugh, Faye Morrison, Ann Morrison, Faye Crouse, Ed Morris, healthcare workers and law enforcement. We especially want to remember the families of Angie Rhodes, Lola Ophelia Williams Austin, Evelyn Morrison Bishop, Shirley Gholson Bailey, Ruby Lee Snider and families that lost loved ones in the all the recent shooting incidences and other families that have recently lost loved ones. May God provide healing to those that are sick and wisdom to those that may need it for life decisions.
