Hope everyone had an enjoyable Easter holiday. My family enjoyed getting together and doing Easter bunny baskets and an egg hunt. Both kids enjoyed the egg hunt so much we had to have a few more hunts throughout the day. For lunch we had grilled chicken, asparagus and corn on the cob.
A town meeting was held April 10 to discuss several city plans. Stay tuned for more city news and upcoming projects.
Tax day approaches fast. If you have not filed your taxes or filed for an extension, do not let it slip past you!
Do not forget to save the date! Silerton Baptist Church is preparing for their centennial celebration on Decoration Day May 7. It will be Silerton’s usual Decoration Day, the first Sunday in May. This year, there will be a special program. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. The program starts at 10 a.m. Lunch will be served after the program.  Debbie Dillard and church family say, “Come Grow with Us!”
