The time is here. “BIG Country Breakfast” and Bake Sale will be from 7-10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Montezuma Community Center. We will have homemade biscuits, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, gravy and drinks all for $6 per plate. Delicious baked goods for sale, too. Come early for the best selection. These funds are used for the cost of operating our community center.
Montezuma sends out happy birthday wishes to Tim Wooley and Buddy Richardson on Feb. 6, Jeremy Cook and Nicole Wooley on Feb. 7, Lynn Cook on Feb. 8, Holly Hemby and Henry Monks on Feb. 10, Mandy Cooper Futch on Feb. 11, Danielle Atkins, Deanna Morrison, Ray Cook, Donna Doyle and Mollie McGuire on Feb. 12 and John Moore and Randy Cooper on Feb. 13.
Please continue to pray for Sandra Lott, Nancy Thomas, A J Sutberry, Ed and Betty Morris, Faye Crouse, Elvie Lee Sanders and our country and our government. Please be in prayer for the families of Leonard Lutz, Keightan Crawford, Trent Rhodes, Betty Ann Owen, Frenzola Young Morris and other families that have recently lost loved ones.
We would love to have some new people get involved in working with us at the community center. Please call me at 608-2857 if you would like to join in.
Please call Betty Cooper at 879-9078 to book the use of the community center.
Please send any noteworthy news you have to share in this column to gaylecox@bellsouth.net or call me at 608-2857.
Blessings to all of you until next time.
