As I wrote this Monday, I could see the snow falling out the window, and it was definitely a blustery looking winter day. I am so thankful that it comes and goes easily around here. I lived up north a couple of different times throughout my husband’s years in the military, and I did not enjoy the times we got heavy snowfalls and all the shoveling required to be able to clear and move your vehicles. As long as the snow stays on the grassy area and does not cause road hazards, it is beautiful to see.
Please continue to pray daily for all those affected by the COVID and their families. Chester County has definitely felt the bite from it, but if everyone continues to do their part in mask wearing, hand sanitizing, social distancing and avoiding small gatherings or just family, we will hopefully get through this before too much longer. I am past ready to for our lives to get back to a more normal state, and I am sure all of you are, too!
Montezuma sends out happy birthday wishes to Faye Morrison on Jan. 14, Nita Wade and Trevor Burns on Jan. 15, Michael Barclay and Jeanette Bolton on Jan. 17, Jimmy Dyer and Marie Mitchell on Jan. 19 and Billy Priddy on Jan. 20.
With so much unrest in our country, I pray that each of you believers will be praying continually for the situation, our government and salvation for the lost. Please pray for Elaine Patterson, Jimmy Ruth, Mike Clayton, Mary Lou Weir Warren, Wayne Monks, Sr., Brenda Ada, Vicki Rush, Kristen Daniel, Faye Crouse, Nancy Thomas, Ed and Betty Morris, Ann Morrison, Healthcare Workers and Law Enforcement. We especially want to remember the families of Larry Wayne Barker, Jean Ross Deming, Rube Patterson, Donald Lynn Cathey and other families that have recently lost loved ones.
Please call Betty Cooper at 879-9078 to book the use of the community center.
