There will be a committee meeting at the Montezuma Community Center at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 2. If you are a part of the committee now, please mark this on your calendar and be there for planning upcoming events, or if you would like to join us, we welcome everyone. With the way things have been through COVID-19, it has been a more difficult time for the center, and if you have not paid your annual membership dues, please do so now. We are also ready to start collecting membership dues for the this year. Dues are $25 and can be mailed to Ann Moore at 2715 State Rt. 225, Henderson, TN 38340. We definitely need everyone to be proactive on this matter.
What a great way to start the week with “Mystery Island” VBS at Liberty Grove Baptist Church. It was a great joy to see the children enjoy their time learning about God and singing, playing and making new friends.
Montezuma sends out happy birthday wishes to Kate Murley and Dakota Capooth on July 15, Jeri Harris on July 18, Norma Morrison and Brittney Denbow on July 19 and Ann Moore and Rene Webb on July 20.
With so much unrest in our country, I pray that each of you believers will be praying continually for the situation, our government and salvation for the lost.
Please pray for Ann Morrison, Jessie Pugh, Teresa Burkhead, Brenda Williams Lambert, Linda Plunk, Vicki Rush, Kristen Daniel, Faye Crouse, Nancy Thomas, Ed and Betty Morris, Healthcare Workers and Law Enforcement.
We especially want to remember the families of Vera Mae Cole, Jeremy Yarber, Ricky Lee Kennedy, Iva Underwood and other families that have recently lost loved ones.
